There have been more than 3750 Worlds Greatest Dinner events in 74 countries since 2014, raising US$2.5 M, With matching funds (2:1) from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, it will buy more than 12 M polio vaccinations.
Cheryl & Susanne had been up to Courtenay on Tuesday morning. Our meeting was her last one on the Island. The next day she took the Blackball Ferry down to Washington State.
District Service Award - AG Bev Hilton presented an award to Derek Rickwood on behalf of DG Joanne Croghan for his leadership of the Nanaimo Rotary Foundation Centennial Event.
