Beer n Burger Fundraiser February 21st at Woodgrove Whitespot. Jim reminded us to look for items to donate to the auction. Also there will be a wine tree.
Brechin School Pancake Breakfast - Don displayed a card written by the students thanking us for our participation.
Rotary Leadership Institute Training - President Rob said it will be held on Saturday, February 11th, would like to see participation by club members. Past President Greg said he attended last year.
Health of the Club - Richard said Lynda had had a fall but is recuperating at home.

President Rob announced that his priorities for the remaining half of this Rotary year will be membership & fundraising.
Program Paul Kolodziej spoke about his role supporting the mission of the Space Shuttle Atlantis. He has degrees in Chemical Engineering from Purdue & University of Minnesota. Paul worked worked on many major aerospace programs at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View California for more than 30 years. In his presentation, he outlined the process for detecting and repairing damage to the heat shield of the Space Shuttle Atlantis.

Paul said the highlight of his career was building an ultra high temperature ceramic for leading edge surfaces that could withstand 5000 degrees F.
