Community Breakfast - coming up on Saturday Dec 12th
Beer & Burger - Coming up on Jan 26th, 2016 Think about regifting some of your Christmas Presents! Just kidding. Barb is looking into
online bidding for the Silent Auction.
Thank You - To the club from the Salvation Army
Popcorn Sales - Ed thanked the members that came out for the Santa Clause Parade and sold popcorn. Fun night and we made $324.00. He
also mentioned that the 50/50 Draw will be starting in around January 10th and going to the end of May.
Jim Turley let us know that he received a call from VIU Foundation Awards and they will match . Its very exciting as the $1000 will now become $2000 !
Jim also shared our Financial Picture. Our Meal Revenue vs our Expenses to date are $4724 vs $4782 , so we are short $58. This has to do with the minimum meals we pay for. Also with Club Revenue he mentioned that not all dues have been paid, so please get those in. Apparently 'the ' emails will come out shortly if you haven't. The Clubs gaming request has gone in for the Salvation Army so the $3000 could come out of there than unrestricted funds. But with all that said it seems like Jim is happy with where we are at.
