Our program
Don Dempson with the President's Citation
Glynis and Ian Thompson. Ian had a spectacularly successful fund raiser with the golf ball drop.
Barney presenting to outgoing President Glynis
Glynis talked about the last year and the challenges and triumphs of the last year. Some highlights were the continuation of our meetings during Covid, the Loaves and Fishes nights, the golf ball drop and the payout from the Bingo Society. This allowed us to honour our commitments to scholarships, Big Brothers and Big Brothers, Nanaimo Food Share, Nanaimo Army, Nanaimo Rowing Club, Nanaimo Regional Hospital Foundation and the Long Lake Rowing Center. Excellent year!

Cara being presented with a Paul Harris award by Larry Rumming. And thanks to Glynis for donating points towards the award.
And of course President Cara
Cara spoke about the PETS conference she attended (virtually of course) and the ideas and speakers she heard including the thought that if each Rotarian brought just one person into Rotary, the organization would grow exponentially. She is also very much looking forward to getting back together in person and we are very much looking forward to an excellent year with President Cara!
