Perry Williams – spoke also about the Rotary Peace Scholarship and the need for qualified applicants - he also pinned Bob Moss with his third Paul Harris pin.
Rod Smith, World Community Service – the club has committed to $1,000 USD to assist Daybreak with their rebuilding of a school in Nepal project. – The club has funded five filtration systems to Disaster Aid for Yemen. He also discussed an update letter from the Sunshine Coast Club regarding our club’s participation in two of their Kenyan well projects.
Paul Geneau – Three outbound students are going to Victoria next week for approval interviews – Omaha, Nebraska was the centre for a Rotary Exchange Assembly (North America), 400 Rotarians attended from North and South America and Asia.
