Colin spoke about the Rotary International conventions They are held in May or June each year for Rotarians around the world to attend. They can not be in the same country more than two years in a row. Planning for each conversion begins 4-5 years in advance and cities are invited to make proposals several years ahead of that. Typical conventions have between 20 - 40 thousand Rotarians in attendance. All Rotarians are encouraged to attend - it is often said that it is something you will never forget.

Program:
Tonight's program was given by one of our own members. Perry gave us a talk on how to set up a Zoom account (free accounts are good for meetings up to 40 minutes) and how to set up meetings.
There are numerous other methods of connecting with friends and family. eg Apple Facetime, Google DUO, Microsoft messanger. These are all good for one to one visits although it is possible to link multiple people together
However, something like Zoom is best for meetings. With this tool, you can share screens, show presentations and even create a poll for your audience.
