Rotary Minute: Colin spoke about the Rotary Foundation Bequest Society.
RYLA Students: Manroop & Taylor spoke about their lessons learned at RYLA in March; Graham Calder & his wife were chaperones.
Program: Inbound students Dorien, Juliana & Ayu each gave a presentation on their home countries and their experiences during the exchange.

- Larry reminded us of the next service project at Loaves 'n Fishes will be on May 28th
- Ian Thompson accepted a US$500 cheque from Doug Pearson for the https://www.theweightwecarry.com/ charity in support of mental health
- community breakfast at Salvation Army is coming up on May 11th
- D5020 conference & training in Victoria May 9-11th
- Ed Poli announced that the Beer n Burger on April 30th raised $2040.
- Don Dempson said the Earth Day event at Barsby school on April 27th was well attended (see story below).
- Gill Campbell said that 60 shifts will be needed for the Dragon Boat Festival July 5-7.
- president-elect Barney Sharp asked that members notify him about their choices of committees to serve on next RY
- Joan Ryan said that RYLA Vancouver Island will be on November 15th
- Jim Turley announced that June 18 will be installation night for Barney Sharp & his new executive
- former member Don Wallace has moved into Eden Gardens
- Derek Rickwood will be exhibiting the "We are all one" painting at D5020 Conference & Training in Victoria
The image of a painting representing youth exchange, entitled, ‘We Are All One’ was used by Craig Gillis, District Governor as gifts for the key note speakers and his conference committee members.
