Installation of Paul Geneau & his executive commitee at the Nanaimo Golf Club.
As a respected professional Paul has achieved the highest office in the Canadian Association of Optometrists, and has traveled on over 30 eye care missions to Jamaica, Costa Rica, and Malawi.
A past president of our club and a past Assistant Governor he's a long-term, committed Rotarian.
To honour Paul's dedication to overseas eye care members were asked to bring as many pairs of used eyeglasses as possible & wear African or Caribbean attire.
The theme for the ceremony was "Keeping an eye on the future".

President Jim outlined the highlights of the past year during which he put in his third term at the helm.

Club members chose Rob Waine as Bruce Coleman Rotarian of the Year, making him eligible for the coveted telephone lamp trophy. Congratulations Rob and thanks for your exemplary contributions during the past year.

Incoming President's Remarks
Presentation to Incoming President
Each year the Rotary clock is passed on to the incoming President. The clock was awarded to our club from our Sister club the Akita East club in Japan in 1990.
It was made by a member of their club from Cherry bark from the Akita region of Japan.
