Points to ponder:
If you can smile when things go wrong - you have someone in mind to blame.

Program:
Our program this week was from our District Governor Craig Gillis.  Craig was raised in Williams Lake and attended university at UVIC where he met his wife Gerry.  They started their careers as teachers in Prince Rupert before moving to Campbell River in 1976.  Since retirement Craig has worked as a SD72 consultant coordinating mentorship for principals and vice-principals and facilitating the Aboriginal Education Improvement Agreement dialogue.  He works with VIU and UVIC in field Services, supervising student teachers.  Recently, he trained all workers in Campbell River for Elections Canada.  He serves as a B.C. Marriage Commissioner.

Craig's message was that we have to know and understand the Why and How of Rotary.  'Why' we do the things we do for the good of our local and world community and 'How' we do those things.  He reminded us to make a difference through the heart, science and inspiration of Rotary.   This is how we can 'move the needle forward' to make a the world a better place for all.

Saturday Rotary Breakfast.
We were busy his week although perhaps not quite as much as the breakfast in June.  Thanks to all who helped out!
